About Me

My photo
Lea and Eddie
Northern, Illinois, United States
Hi there! I'm Lea! I am a natural horsemanship student and I have been around horses for 9 years. Currently I am in the process of becoming a certified Equine Podiatrist and next August, I will start taking on clients. I love to trim horses and be out all day with them. Our family owns three horses and a beautiful farm that is an immense blessing from God. I am a dedicated Christian and I do my best to honor God in the things that I do. I studied Parelli Natural Horsemanship for 3 years and decided to branch out and learn from the other fantastic horsemen out there.I am loving every step of the journey God has blessed me with and I know that He is directing every step of my life.

R Big Time Edition
I AM EDDIE! I am the boss of the herd, except when I get scared... I am 15.3 hands high and I am a breeding stock paint gelding. I've been on this farm for four years now and I just love being the boss. I am very playful and I love to get into trouble. Lea sure does do a good job playing with me though. She catches on pretty fast when I want to teach her stuff...

Lakota's Painted Scout

Lakota's Painted Scout
Hi! I'm Scout! I'm the happiest 13 hand pony around! I love the humans and I am as dependable as a good 'ole grandpa! I am 21 years old and yet I can still play like a 4 year old. I am a regular paint pony and am as happy as can be! I never complain and I just love food!

Lil Bit of Diesel

Lil Bit of Diesel
I am Diesel! I was a rescue pony, and I am now living a very happy life in the company of my herd, and the humans. I love my family now, they take care of me, feed me and love me to pieces! I am 9 hands tall, and I am a Mini Hinny!

My Favorite Bible Verses

Romans 12:2
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Isaiah 41:10
Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

John 8:31-32

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

1 Peter 5:5

"Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble.”

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
