A Visit to a Friend & Some Small Play Things

Today mom and I went to Rebecca's to visit her and Savannah. They are doing great, and looking better and better every day.

When we got home I went out and played with Eddie. We went to the south side of the track which takes about 10 minutes to get to. So once we got down there we trotted back and forth along the side. It was fun, because I would start to RUN and he did the most EXTENDED trot I've ever seen him do. It was so pretty!!!!
Then we made our way down back the line again by going sideways away and towards. He trotted sideways about 30 feet and then we took a break because he was offering a lot!

It's pretty hard to do much in a 18 foot wide area that's 200 feet long. So, we came up with a few things. I had him do the spanish walk with me by his side and just lifting my leg. He did it so well!!! Oh guess what?! He did the stretch that the saddlebreds do, he looked so funny!!! He was SO stretched out and just standing there like, "Can I have a cookie?!" What a nut!

We did one more thing - I asked him to trot sideways and he did for about 30 feet!!! It was so light and he was offering a lot!

That's about all that we did and probably all that we can do for awhile. Hopefully the ice will be leaving in a bit - although I don't think it will, it's supposed to snow tomorrow night.

Anyway, gtg!
I smell dinner cookin'!

A Very Long Play Session!

Wow, can you believe this is blog post # 360?! Wowza!!!
Today we had the best session this month! Well it's almost the longest session we've had this month! We probably played for about an hour and a half.
First we started with playing out and around the pasture. We stayed on the west side over by the orchard. I had him do some squeeze game underneath apple trees and through the grape arbor. We trotted around different things and played with a bit of sideways towards and away. He did really well with it and it was SO light. Oh my goodness! It was so peaceful. The woodpeckers were knocking and besides the Shwan's man going to the neighbor's, everything was silent. It was kind of cute, he was such a dominant LBE today. He really wanted to be the leader! But I kindly - yet firmly said, "No thank you!" And he was fine after that.
So we grazed by the round pen for a while and then we went into the track. Time for some FUN!
We trotted along two whole sides which is a long way! Probably 300 feet. Then I decided that we might as well try some trotting sideways. It's time to do some new stuff while we polish off our other stuff.
He did it perfectly! At first I didn't think he would do it, but I asked him and he did it 3 times about 6 or 7 steps! He looked SO pretty!!! I thought, "why not!?" And I asked him to do it towards. His sideways towards has always been pretty good. But this was SUPERB! He did it twice and I was just running backwards!!!
Yahhooo!!!!!!!!! It was so nice outside and it was such a fun play time!
We did one more thing - yoyo game! I had him trot next to me and then I would just totally extend and so would he! His extended trot is just magnificent! I can't even explain it! Hopefully I'll be able to get some videos soon of the new stuff we've been trying.
Thank you Lord for such an amazing horse!!!

Hooray! A Play Session!!

Well today it was freezing out, but we played anyway! I think the high was... 9 degrees! Yahoo! ;)
Eddie and I went out to the track and we went for a lap online. It was so nice, we got to trot back and forth on the south line about a dozen times. He was so happy to be moving! Then I played with zone 5 driving with one rein and we did a little bit of haunches in. He offered it at the trot too! He never ceases to blow my mind. We did some yoyo game after that. I was trotting with him down the line and I would do a really slow trot and so would he, then we would do a HUGE extended trot and he would just fly!!! I really think that this summer we'll be able to do all that, but I'll be riding. I hope and pray that we can - because I think we're both ready.  I'll just keep praying about it though! :)
So we did some cutting game after all that and he was quite hyper! It was fun though. We made our way back to the barn on the other side of the track and he ended there. It was a really fun play time and I'm learning to enjoy every minute we get to play because of this ice.
Here's a picture of my handsome:
And I thought that this picture of our farm is pretty cool. :) You can see the round pen, the pasture, the paddock and the outdoor. Pretty neat, huh?!

We Played!!!!!

Today it was very cold outside! I blanketed Eddie last night and he was thoroughly enjoying it. ;)
This morning, dad and I did chores - cleaned stalls, filled up buckets, gave the horses hay, and fed them. Then dad and I did some school, blah, blah, blah... Anyway! I went out to the barn at around 12 and stayed out until 1:45 ish. I took Eddie's blanket off because it was aorund 16 degrees. Eddie and I then went out to the pasture and trotted from point to point to find some grass. I was all bundled up in my snow pants and he kept me warm as I hid behind him from the wind. It was SO nice, we went for a walk in the track after we grazed for a long time!
I'm so glad that we have Parelli, because I had to, literally, direct exactly where he went so he wouldn't slip on the ice. I know you're not supposed to do that, because it's micromanaging, but I wasn't about to let him walk on the ice and hurt himself. So I would have him walk right behind me and we would take it about 5 steps at a time because there was snow we were walking on, but ice under that. And we didn't hit ice once! Yippeee!! He was very, very responsive and light too, when I had to hold onto the clasp to direct his feet. He was listening the whole time and I knew he was asking "Where should I put my foot next?"
It was really nice to be able to do stuff other than graze. After we finished our lap, we went by the round pen and he grazed all the grass underneath the fence. I couldn't believe how much ice was in the round pen, and we had been playing on that just a few weeks ago!

So, we're finding ways to play, even though the weather is determined not to let us. But it's good, (optomist here) we both get to learn more refinement by me asking him to put his feet somewhere safe. And I think it's really paying off, he's really looking to me for guidance now! So, all this ice may be a blessing in disguise! :) God has something for you learn in every circumstance!

Playing despite the ice,

Going for a Walk

Yet again we couldn't do much today. This ice is really, really quite a pain. But we went for a short walk to the sideyard and we grazed there for about a half an hour. It was a little bit sunny, but like yesterday the snow came and now it's snowing. :( Well I don't think spring is too far off, it's almost February and then March and the ice will be gone.
It's interesting though, the past couple of winters we would ride and play every day but I think we've only been able to ride in the snow a handful of times. In November and early December it was snowy and we could ride and play, then in late December the big ice storm came and that was almost an end to our play sessions. Then in early January it melted. Then it came back and now it's SO icy again.
But hopefully it will be a mild spring without too much rain. And I'm hoping that this summer we will be able to play in the evening when it's cool. We've never played in the evening, but I think it would be fun and it would be interesting for him. :) Anyway, we are trying to keep their minds occupied and my mom and I are busy with chores and keeping the barn nice and tidy.

We finally got to do something!

Well today Eddie and I finally got to play! (or take a walk - whichever you prefer)
We went out into the pasture and we avoided all the skating-rink ice and found some spots to graze. We trotted to and from grassy places over the snow and the grass. It is SO icy outside though. And now it's snowing and windy, so I don't know if we'll be able to play tomorrow. But even if we just go for a walk, it's still better than nothing! Undemanding time! :)
So we went for a walk and played with lots of point to point grazing things.
Then this afternoon I groomed him in his stall and he was very content. the wind was howling outside though! I brushed his tail, picked out his feet, brushed him and combed his mane. He was very handsome! ;) His tail looks so pretty when it's all brushed out.
That's about all we did! I can't believe that January is almost over. Time flows by quite quickly!
I'm going to watch some Level 4-5 Parelli videos in the Savvy Club vault and watch some Auditions on Youtube too. That way when the weather breaks we'll have things to do! Yippeee!

Until tomorrow, friends!

Where has Time Gone?

It's flown by so quickly! The past few days have been pretty mucky/yucky. It's been raining on and off the past few days and the wind has been horrendous. So it's been pretty shoot-and-miss whether (get it, weather? no pun intended) I get to play with Eddie.

But I did get to play with Eddie yesterday and he had so much energy. We spent most of the time running around out in the pasture and going for long walks and long trots. That seemed to help!
Today the dentist came (for the horses) and they got their teeth floated. Everyone was very hyper, but we finished it up after 45 minutes and they were all done!
So today it's foggy and windy and cold and tomorrow it looks like it will be the same weather tomorrow too.
Sorry, there's not much to type about, it's been pretty slow going here.
But there is something fun on the horizon! Tomorrow I'm going out to Rebecca's barn - http://becnsavyllj.blogspot.com/ - and I'm going to help her with Savannah's diet because she is loosing lots of weight. It will be very fun to share our (my mom and I) knowledge of what we've learned from Dr. Eleanor Kellon.
So, to the readers out there... I hope your weather is cooperating more than ours is!
Until tomorrow...

Such a Fun Day!

Today was so much fun!
This morning mom, dad, and I all went out to the pasture with the boys (horses) and we grazed for a long time. It was so nice, today was the first sunny day in about a week or more!
So Eddie and I just chilled while we went searching for grass.

I played with Scout after we put Diesel and Eddie back. He was very, very extroverted! But we did some circles, weave (LOTS of weave) and some 'don't cross the line' he was much better! Our 'don't cross the line' went like this: I was walking and he was walking beside me and he would keep going in front of me. So I wiggled the carrot stick directly out to my right and then to my left and he stayed behind once he figured it out. Because my sister has been driving him a lot (from zone 5) that's what caused his sudden peak in LBE-ness. So it turned our nice, little RBI/LBI to an extreme LBE. hehe, it was fun to play with and he is such a sweetie! Once I put him back in a 'partner' state of mind he was quite a gentleman. :)

Then mom and I sorted all the hay for the night and I grabbed the skiis and went for a lap around the property. My legs were very tired! Especially because we don't have any hills. It was fun though.
After lunch, doing some school and watching some more Pearl Harbor (we started it the other day) we went back out and I trimmed Eddie. His feet look SO good now! I really enjoy trimming! Even though my legs were shaking, it was still so rewarding to see his feet almost perfect and know that I trimmed them.

Eddie was very, very sleepy! hehe! So we started with some Spanish Walk and he was so cute... lol! He would just paw once and then once again. It was very cute! He was too sleepy to do much with his feet. Then we did some sideways over barrels and it was so light. I'm really working on my refinement again. Getting lighter and lighter. He had a sudden burst of energy, so we went to circles and he did two - walk - close range circles, then I asked him to trot. He trotted two circles each way, then we did a change of direction and he did one the other way before he spooked and we went back online for a few minutes. Then we jumped the barrels a few times, did the squeeze game over the barrels and then I hopped on for a few minutes!
We walked around in the round pen for a few minutes and did a couple of laps before we ended at the gate. Then we stopped there. It was a really good play session, and considering he was sleepy, he did really, really good!
I LOVE YOU EDDIE!!!!!!!!! <3

Hopefully it will stay sunny for another day or two!

Long Reins & Grazing!

Today Eddie and I improved out draw!
We went out into the pasture first and played witn the barrels. I would send him out around them (while I stayed in a small circle I drew in the snow) and then I would draw him back to me! He did it really well and it was a challenge for me to stay in my circle and have him go out around the barrels.
After that we straddled a pole lengthwise and then we did some circles. He did 4 at the trot with only a few breaks of gait, then we did a change of direction and did about 3 more the other way at the trot. We also did some long rein zone 5 driving. Eddie and I did some point to point (with apples! yum!) and he was great with it. We trotted to the different obstacles and it felt so good to be able to run in a straight line. Yippeee!
My mom and dad came outside afterwards and my mom took Scout, my dad took Diesel and I took Eddie and we all went for a little walk! We went over to the sideyard and let the herd graze. They are very eager for green grass, that's for sure!
We all went back to the paddocks and gave them some more hay. I feel bad that they have to be cooped up, but Eddie has found a way to entertain himself...

What a nut - he has no figured out how to get his front feet over the bottom strand of fence (our fence divider for the paddocks are 3 strands of cotten rope) Anyway, he gets his front over over the bottom, his neck over the top and stands there... Just stands there.... So my dad and I are on a mission to see what we can do about that, because we don't want him to get hurt! Silly guy!

Let's Go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our play session today was so much fun!!! Eddie had so much energy and we used it up so well! We went out into the pasture and played with some circling game and going over obstacles while circling. I sent him to the end of the 45 foot line and he did about 4-5 circles of cantering without breaking gait. He didn't want to come in, either! He kept going and going and then he finally came in at the trot. I love him! He soared over the barrels because they were almost covered in snow and in a drift about 3 feet wide. Well he took off early and just FLEW over them! He probably jumped about 7 feet long!!!!
Then we played some touch it and he went all the way to the pedestal from 45 feet away. I was holding the very end of the line! He didn't exactly go directly to it, so I had to do some driving game and it was so light!!! I just looked at his HQ and he moved over and went right up on the pedestal! Yippee!!!!
We went in his paddock afterwards and I sat on him for a little bit. I feel sorry for him, he must be pretty bored and he was quite frisky. But it's easy to handle when you know that God couples major weaknesses with major strengths. :) My strength is Parelli and our on-the-ground savvies and our weakness is riding. He knows exactly how to keep our egos in check!

Saaaaaaaaaavvy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today Eddie and I had so much fun!!!!
First we played in the round pen with long reins and he was so good - so sweet! We trotted around from zone 5 and did some small sidewayses and then we just played around in the round pen with circling game and 7 games with an obstacle. We really refined our 7 games with an obstacle to where I got really clever (and he did too!) as to what to do with our obstacle. hehe, which was a stick! He picked it up and held it in his mouth, then he ripped some of the bark off - which I didn't tell him to do - then we sidewaysed over it towards and away. We circled over it and then we went out the pasture. I tell you, his whole attitude changed! I think we were both somewhat bored in the round pen. I think there is a limit of things you can do in a round pen for 2 weeks! It felt so good (for him and me) to be able to run in a straight line for more than 50 feet! It was great! He jumped the barrels, did some cavaletties, and did the most amazing circling game! He was at the end of the 45 foot line and just trotting away! He was SO happy! Then he stopped and rolled in the snow, it was such a relief to be out of that round pen!
Here are some pictures from today:

I got on after we were done playing in the pasture and he did so well. He was very gentlemanly and very patient. I love you Edddie!!!

3 Savvies & Contentment with where we are

Today was really fun!
We went out after lunch and played with all the ponies! First I brought Eddie into the round pen and we played with some online. We did some sideways towards with me going sideways too, and some prep-for-change of directions. He did really good, and he was very light the whole time. I think our Online is a very solid Level 4 quality, for our 'disengage and come in' from the circle was so, so light! I just looked up and he was like, "Yay! I get to come in!" It was so cool!
Liberty was next! And that too felt like it was solidly in Level 4. His circles were so light, and his transitions were effortless! If he was at a walk, he stayed within 12 feet of me, is he was at the trot, he stilled stayed about 15 feet away from me, then at the canter he would go all the way out to the rail. It was so neat! We did some sideways after that and he did it so willingly and effortlessly! We jumped the barrels about 10 times - he kept wanting to do it! Man, he really has quite a personality! His spanish walk, cutting game, and draw has improved tremendously! All of a sudden our Liberty has blossomed. Oh guess what?! We started a new Pattern! Weave at liberty! I set out 5 sticks in the snow around the round pen and we weaved in and out of them. It was really fun, and he loved it!
Freestyle was next! ;) We did some nice and easy laying over him and having him not charge to the gate. *sigh* It was teaching me a lot of patience, and I didn't get frustrated once, like I used to. I actually thought it quite funny! I probably got on and off 6 or 7 times and by the end he would stand patiently and wait for the next thing to do. We did a smal weave pattern with the new thing that we did ^^^^ Up there when we played at Liberty. We trotted around a little bit and it was really fun! He had a ton of energy, but it was fun.

Sometimes it's easy to get discouraged that we don't do
much in Freestyle, but I have to be content with where we are. :) It's like in Mulan (I know it's a weird comparrison) where her father says, "the blossoms are beautiful this year. But look! This one is late. But I think when it blooms it will be the most beautiful of them all!"
I think it will. :)

Goin For a Walk

Today was a lot of fun!

My dad was home and my sister was at school for the morning, then once my sister got home, we went out to play with all the horses! My dad took Diesel, my sister took Scout and I took Eddie! We went everywhere. In the orchard, by the south line, behind the house, on the dirveway, in the alfalfa field and to the only hill we have. So we trotted around back to the barn, through the maze of wheelbarrows and back to the round pen where Eddie and I played at liberty.

He did AMAZING! His spanish walk was amazing, it was so light and he just offered so much! Then we did some cutting game and he was rearing and bucking, it was so much fun. But the coolest thing he did was he drew at the trot and jumped the barrels! It was super light and all I had to do was lean back and he was at a stand still! Yahoo! So we did some more of the circling game that we did yesterday. With change of directions and me spinning. He's getting better at it!

My sister wanted some pointers with Scout, so I sat on the fence and watched as Eddie ate some hay.
Allison and Scout did great! They're playing with some circling game and I told her to ask a little more out of Scout, because he would trot a few steps, then stop. Silly guy! They did some spins after that and they looked great! Way to go sis!!! Love you!

Fun with Scout & Eddie

Yesterday, I played with both Scout and Eddie!
First Eddie and I went in the round pen and did some more spanish walk, jumping, circling game and we're starting something new! Have you ever seen this video?  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ow2yDdRK_Zc  If not, watch it!!!! Anyway, we played with the thing Mikey does with Red Sun when they are doing the close circling game. Spin and change of direction! Eddie is catching on, but it's going to take a lot of practice! I thought it would be a cool thing to learn. Where I spin the opposite direction that Eddie is circling and then when I arrive on the other side with my stick he changes direction! Where he does it in the video is at 1:19 seconds. So if you want to skip to that part - it's a long video! So after I did that with Eddie I put him back and because Scout was having a fit I went and brought him into the round pen.
He had so much energy! So we played with 'good' circles. It took him about 4 or 5 bad circles, then he would mantain gait, direction, and he was connected. So we did that both ways and went to the figure eight. We played with me breathing in and out and he would come in/go out. It went really well and the whole time I was asking him politely, but firmly not to bite me. He did at the beginning of the session, but we nipped-it-in-the-bud after that. ;) What a funny duck! Scout really needs some more things to do, because my sister is somewhat busy with college, I'm going to take on playing with him on afternoons that she's not here. So hopefully we won't need to do any more 'fixing' sessions.

Now on to today!!

Fun in the Snow!

This morning we had a great play session together!
We went in the round pen and played at liberty! We did some squeeze game over the barrels which he did amazingly! At first he didn't want to do it, but then we did some 'reverse psycology' by just going, "Ok, then let's just lick it!" After that he was offering it "Let's jump mom!!!" So that was really cool. :)
Then we played with some circling game and he did amazing with that! His transitions are so smooth and light now. His change of directions are getting there, but I'm having him come all the way into me, then going back out, because he's had some trouble with that before.
We did some 'chase me' next. hehe! I made a quick video of us playing with it. It's really funny!

I got on and we rode after that. We decided to play with the spanish walk from his back. It was really cool! He did it twice with each foot, then the sun went away and he got really snarky.  :/  hehe, it was funny though! So I got off and we did it from the ground. I admit it, I got a little snarky back (are we mirrors of each other or what?!) so we went back to the driving game while I rode. He did it twice more and then we ended there. It was a fun thing for us to try!
I slid off of his rump to finish things off and we went back inside! It was a really, really good play session and I was out there for a good hour and a half.
Love you Eddie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3 Savvies!

Eddie and I had a ton of fun today in the snow! We played with long lines first and he did excellent with them!!! We trotted around, did circling game and change of directions at the walk and at the trot! Yippee! We went sideways a lot too and then we straddled a single barrel. Which at first he didn't want to do at all, but we played with it for a little while and he finally got it! Then we ran around a little bit without the long reins and we went to liberty after that!
His liberty was awesome! We played... well with everything that we played with yesterday!! lol! Which is circling, spanish walk, sideways, chase me game, cutting game, figure eight and everything with a Level 3+ quality! :) He's such a good boy, I love him!
Then I hopped on and we trotted around (I stayed on this time with snow pants - yay!) we did sideways, backing up and just using my savvy string. He was HYPER, but with some Patterns we was better. Still hyper though! But it was nice, he was warm and fuzzy and it was so nice to be riding. Allison came in with Scout so we rode together - gotta love Parelli buddies! Especially when they're your sister!

hehe, I played with Diesel afterwards too! He was little Mr. LBE! He was bucking, and jumping and being so silly! So we did the weave at the walk and the trot and jumped through some snow drifts and trotted over the cavaletties! He was so funny, but he did really good! I think that was the first time we had a real play session!
Here's a video of our winter fun!

Snow Play!!!

Here's a short video of Eddie and I playing today. We had a TON of fun in the snow!!
We went out around 1:30 and we played in the round pen. First we were online and we did some things just to get his attention. His bullseye is getting really, really good. I asked him to pick it up and he did it automatically! Now we just have to bump it up to the next gait. :) But that will take time.
Then we went to liberty and did lots of fun things! We started with sideways towards and away then played with some circling. It was really good! I mean, SUPER good! His transitions were so smooth and effortless and a few times he did close circles at the walk and trot without me asking him. So I called Allison over to film our Level 3 Liberty Audition! I grabbed some barrels and we played a little bit then we started it! It was going ok, but he had 'used up' all of his draw ;) so it wasn't as good as I would want it to be. Besides, the batteries went out on the camera. So it wasn't meant to be today, but we'll know when it's time! Anyway, before we started videoing - he was doing some awesome stuff! We did some spins and they were excellent! Very fluid and pretty fast. We did some 'chase me' too and he was chasing me everywhere!! lol! We did some cutting in between there too. He was so funny!
Here are some pictures from today!

Oh Yeah! I almost forgot! We rode after this too! He did really well! I grabbed a saddle pad because he was so wet, and I hopped on with my 2 savvy string as reins. We trotted a whole lap in the round pen - which just goes to show that we have made a TON of progress! Last winter I would never have thought we would be able to do that. I know, it sounds silly "Trotted a whole lap!" But it's the journey that we've taken and we have gone through a lot. We trotted around, did a figure eight. Oh and guess what?! We did a sidepass, it was really light and he did it perfectly! Yippeeeeee!
We had such a good play time!

Yay! Another play time!!

Well I just got back in from playing with the horses for 2 hours! Yippee!! It was really fun, my dad made an arena out in the pasture on the higher part of it by snow blowing it and we lined it will all of our obstacles. There was still quite a bit of ice under foot, but we kept it at a walk/trot most of the time (besides when Eddie left for a victory lap over the ice and snow. He was fine thank goodness and he went right to Scout so my sister could grab him.) Anyway, we just used up some of his energy, we did some bullseye, circling (which is unbelievably amazing) change of directions, transitions, sideways towards/away and some refined yoyo. We also did some zone 5 driving, but he was too energetic to do that. We really didn't do much, but he has so much energy, there really is no way to stand still and do something. But we did do some more spanish walk and he's totally fine with it. It's a fun thing to play with. I laid on him for a little bit, but didn't do much with that either because he had too much energy and I had a feeling he would want to go for another victory lap if I had gotten on. But he did great, nonetheless and I'm watching the radar as another 8 inches of snow comes our way:

Ephesians 2:10
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Isn't that a comforting verse?!

It's still cold!

Yup, it's cold again and it's supposed to snow today. We're taking down Christmas decorations today and my dad was blasting Earth, Wind & Fire in the kitchen... ;) It's a slow day today and I'm kind of bored. Anyway, here are some fun videos I found on Youtube. They are excellent examples of Parelli Horsemanship!

Finally a Play Time!!

Yippee!!! Eddie and I finally got to play today!!!
We went in the round pen and I sectioned off a place where it was icy, and we played in there. It was SO beyond nice to be able to play! He had a lot of energy, so we did a lot of circles. All of them were excellent! 98% perfect circles. Yippee! We did some really refined yoyo then and all I had to do was bring my energy up and he would back up and have this expression on his face like, "What are we going to do next?!!!!!" We did a few cutting passes and he was jumping back and forth, it was so fun! Then I sat on the fence and I had him sideways to the end of the 22 and sideways back, which more or less worked. ;) He more like trotted back to me. hehe, but that's fine with me! So we sidewaysed and then we went to the barrel and I crossed my legs and so did he. We went back to circles and played with transitions. He did amazing! I just brought my leg back into position from the 'cocked relaxed' stance and brought my belly button in front of his nose. He smoothly went down to a walk and then with the same change in my body, except it was on his zone 3, he went back up to the trot.
*content sigh*
I just love that horse! We can be off for a week and a half and come back suddenly and things are almost better than how they were before!
Wow! Thank you God for giving me Eddie! He's truly one of the greatest blessings to my life!

It's a New Year!

Happy New Year! It's 2010!

Well, we haven't played at all this year ;) hehe, but we had a great play time on the 31st. He chased me around at liberty, we did spins, spanish walk and the cutting game. His spanish walk is getting good! I'm now asking him to lift his leg when I lift mine. He's really getting it and I think he really likes it!!!

Hopefully we'll be able to play soon, because it's been in the single digits/negatives all week.

We got our December DVD the other day, so I was watching that this afternoon. It was really good! I think the only thing Eddie and I could play with is our needle simulations. He is 90% fine with it when I do it with him, but whenever a vet comes, he hates it. Thankfully vets don't come very often, but it's stressful when they do. Anyway, maybe we can be playing with that while it's icy! :) It'd be a nice-low key thing to do that doesn't require any movement!

I think that's all I can think of typing about. I'm praying that this cold snap goes away and we can do some playing.
